The Influential Problem Solver® (TIPS) Program

The Influential Problem Solver prepares participants to follow a specific process for analyzing and creating quality solutions.

What is the purpose of the program?

The primary focus of The Influential Problem Solver is to increase personal power and influence in solving problems, making decisions and planning with others. Participants
learn and practice team-based problem solving/decision making skills through group case studies and debriefs. There is an influence style refresher and brief practice of influencing styles. The influence styles are integrated into the problem solving/decision making process. The program also uses an overview to a situational approach for choosing appropriate facilitation styles. There is pre-program work that includes reading “Case of Burred Panels” and completion of “On-Job Problem Identification” worksheet.

This program is designed specifically for graduates of the Positive Power and Influence program.
